For the 10th consecutive year, Red Nucleus has been included in the MM+M Magazine Agency 100, a list of the top medical communications agencies of the year.

Excerpt from the profile at MM+M:

"At the start of its acquisition binge a few years ago, Red Nucleus — then largely known as a global learning and performance agency — snapped up Invivo Communications, renowned for its offerings in the realms of VR/AR and medical animation. That’s likely why global president, medical communications Philip McCrea pauses when asked to discuss the company’s most memorable work from 2022.
“It’s easy to talk about the cool digital stuff, right?” he asks. “What you don’t hear enough about is how we’re connecting that animation to AR or VR and creating experiences that impact how people feel.”
"By way of example, McCrea references an augmented reality experience that simulates the experience of dealing with eye worms. “We’re talking actual live mites on the surface of the eye,” he explains, quite graphically. “What we did with AR was create an emotional understanding of what it’s like to deal with that disease.”
"This, writ small, is what differentiates Red Nucleus from the tens of medical marketing agencies that claim to wield technology in the name of generating empathy.
“We have the ability to create experiences that are emotive rather than just educational,” McCrea continues. “We take emerging technology and do something valuable with it, rather than something that’s just cool. It’s easy to fall into that trap.”
